As the result of a merger between the International Commerce Bank of China and the Chio Tung Bank, Mega International Commercial brand was forged due to the immense track record of both. Now, instead of competing with one another, they look to take the world by storm as a cohesive partnership committed to offering value and authenticity henceforth.
The Bank of China was privatized in 1971 to become the International Commercial Bank of China, which was the future predecessor of both the Ta Ching Bank and the Hupu Bank. Both of these banks were set up to be a second arm of the treasury, and a note-issuing bank before the establishment of a proper bank in 1928.
Taking advantage of their position as foreign exchange specialists, the bank started to become a global operation as China continued to change and aim its transitions towards being a global power.
With the view of increasing the number of clients and the volume of transactions, both banks decided to merge as the Mega International Commercial Bank Co., Ltd.
A Growing Value Of
This occurred on 21st August, 2006, and since then the bank now holds over 108 branches at home and 22 branches abroad, with 5 representative offices. It's this approach to banking that has seen the brand grow not just in China, but in other nations such as Taiwan as well.
It has now become a major subsidiary in both Taiwan Canada, helping to further expand the Chinese sphere of influence.
These extra locations means that the Mega International Commercial brand now employs over 5,000 people and is becoming one of the most powerful banking venues on the planet. This rapid eye for growth mixed with the ability to mix and match with other nations has ensured that the Mega International Commercial Bank Co., Ltd has become a location that peple can trust and enjoy being a part of in the future.
Not only has this created a new avenue for banking across Taiwan but it has helped to expand the influence and overall growth of banking in Asia and into other continents.
